Reroll your race through Customize → Rolls or the Hage Priest inside Hage Village church. Among the five documented beta races, Devil has the largest listed Mana and EXP bonuses; Elf is also a substantial Mana upgrade.
Compare the benefit you actually need
Flat Mana and percentage Mana are different entries. The table keeps them separate instead of turning them into an invented final character stat.
| Race | Reported Mana bonus | Reported EXP bonus | Other useful benefit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Human | Not listed | +5% | +5% Health and Stamina regeneration |
| Dwarf | +55 flat | Not listed | +25% Health and Stamina regeneration |
| Human-Dwarf | +15% | +15% | +30% Health regeneration; +40% Stamina regeneration |
| Elf | +120 flat and +30% | +25% | +30% Health and Stamina regeneration |
| Devil | +250 flat and +45% | +40% | +20% Health; +80% Health and Stamina regeneration |
Reported beta bonuses: BloxInformer, September 29, with matching values in Destructoid, October 12, 2026. Checked October 18; these have not been retested in Update 2. “Not listed” does not mean a measured zero.
Use the race menu, not the grimoire tower

A practical way to decide whether to keep a race
If you repeatedly run out of Mana, compare pool size and regeneration before chasing an EXP label. If you survive comfortably and mainly want faster leveling, experience becomes a more relevant comparison. If short fights end with almost no Health, recovery and Health bonuses deserve more attention.
Rerolling is only one route to improvement. A new skill, a stronger outfit or a better quest route can address a problem that another random race does not solve. Set a Spin budget before opening the menu, then spend time playing the result rather than treating the rarest name as a prerequisite for starting.
Why exact Mana Regen is absent here
Older Trello-derived fan records and the BloxInformer/Destructoid tables disagree on Mana regeneration for every race. We have kept that disputed column out of the comparison. The current public Trello also cannot substantiate those old values.
This page compares reported passive packages; it does not establish an awakening requirement, current roll odds or a guaranteed number of Spins. For grimoire progression, use the separate grimoire and Mana Crystal guides.
Check the rest of the setup before spending another reroll
A weak equipment piece and a missing reward can be easier to address than a passive reroll. Compare a named gear upgrade, inspect your claimable rewards and keep the next goal with your current race, class and trait in the build notebook.
Compare this roll for your next goal
Use the goal tier selector to compare this system for leveling, survival or Mana sustain. Its labels are editorial interpretations of the same dated bonus records, not a new gameplay test or a total damage formula.
Questions players ask
What is the best race in Clover Time?
Devil has the largest listed Mana and EXP bonuses in the dated beta comparison. That is a passive-stat comparison, not a verified Update 2 combat ranking.
Where is the race reroll NPC?
The Hage Priest is inside Hage Village church. You can also open Customize → Rolls and select Race.
Can I use Mana Crystals to reroll my race?
The documented systems are separate: character rolls use Spins; Mana Crystals are for grimoires at Grimoire Tower.
